Children’s Fears

All parents have to handle their children’s fears and trepidations. It can often be a hard choice between telling a child to “get over”fears quickly and “going along with them” hoping they will pass on their own over time. Both responses have some validity but when needed if moms and dads can find a way to offer patience, support and gentle encouragement as they help their children tackle one “scary” thing at a time their efforts can boost a little one’s long term confidence and lower apprehensions.
